8 Cheapest Beautiful All-Inclusive Hotels in Tenerife That Are Worth a Stay

I am sharing a list of truly awesome cheapest all-inclusive hotels in Tenerife based on my experience of staying in some of them and the experiences of others I’ve helped plan their trips to the island.

Surprisingly, all-inclusive holidays in Tenerife became one of my favorite activities here. Throughout my travels, I’ve stayed at all-inclusive resorts in Turkey (multiple times) and Dubai. But since moving to Tenerife, I’ve experienced some all-inclusive stays on the island (and one at a great hotel in Gran Canaria), so I have plenty to compare.

In my other posts, I am going to talk about other full-service resorts in Tenerife, but here below let’s talk about affordable all-inclusive hotels for people on a budget.

They are a mix of cheap all-inclusive in Tenerife South and Tenerife North where it is easy enough to have a long stay or just spend a couple of nights while you are on a short holiday to Tenerife.

Is It Worth Going to All Inclusive in Tenerife?

I can give an answer based on my experience, as I have a lot to compare when it comes to all-inclusive stays.

Initially, my expectations were low – I didn’t think Tenerife could offer good service, and I assumed the hotels would be much smaller compared to those in Turkey.

But after our first stay, which was just a two-night getaway, I was blown away. Service was excellent everywhere we stayed. Hotels were lovely, all rooms we stayed in were very nice, and food was diverse. Not long after, we had a second stay, and then a third. This February, we’ve already booked our fourth all-inclusive on the island (I’ll talk about each of them separately).

All-inclusive hotels in Tenerife are indeed smaller than in other destinations where all-inclusives are popular, but my husband and I really appreciated the excellent service and peaceful vibe. The resorts may be compact, but they offer a lot in terms of daily activities and details. Many have panoramic pools and privilege clubs, where you can enjoy extra perks and a more private experience. These clubs, by the way, are a special feature in almost every hotel.

Another important factor is the surroundings of the hotels, which, like the entire island, offer high-quality experiences. Tenerife is beautiful, and there’s so much to do, from going on independent visits to charming towns around the island to visiting hidden gems and panoramic cafes.

So yes, I can definitely say that staying at an all-inclusive in Tenerife is worth it, especially if you’re looking for a carefree holiday where there is no need to worry about cooking and where you can simply enjoy lazy, relaxing days.

Things to Know Before Booking Cheap All-Inclusive Tenerife Holidays

The first thing to know, as I mentioned earlier, is that all-inclusive hotels in Tenerife are generally smaller. Don’t expect the massive resorts where it takes days just to get familiar with the grounds. In Tenerife, you can get to know the hotel layout in just a few hours.

Because of this, it’s important to understand that the number of activities within the hotel itself is limited. Yes, there are entertainment programs, morning yoga in some hotels, dance classes, and kids’ clubs, but the options are fewer.

If one activity is happening, the next may not be for a while. You won’t find multiple activities running simultaneously where each family member can choose something different to do at the same time – the program is more limited, and you’ll need to adapt to the schedule.

As for food, you can definitely expect a diverse buffet, including seafood. Surrounded by water, Tenerife naturally features fish and seafood on most menus, though in more budget-friendly all-inclusive hotels, the selection may be smaller.

As for the price, the cheapest time to go to an all-inclusive hotel in Tenerife is May. Second cheapest month is September, the third one is February. In May in some 5-star hotels that I mention below the price per night can be around €150 for 2, this is considered a cheap price for such a vacation.

So if you are on a really tight budget but want to have an all-inclusive holiday in Tenerife, definitely plan a trip for May!

Cheapest All-Inclusive Hotels in Tenerife for Lower Budgets

Landmar Playa La Arena – 4-star

hotel's lobby
  • Location: in the small town of La Arena
  • Price per Night: from €150 (even in December during the holidays)
  • Best for: families and couples, but for some might feel crowded due to its family-friendly focus
  • Read reviews on booking.com!

Among all the hotels in this article, Landmar Playa la Arena is the cheapest all-inclusive in Tenerife, so I am going to start my list with it.

It is located 50 m away from a decent volcanic beach and has 4 swimming pools, 3 restaurants, and tennis courts. The whole area where it is situated is very walkable and you don’t even need to have a car when vacationing here (if you have no plans to see the island, of course).

Though it’s officially a 4-star hotel, many guests believe it deserves a 5-star rating – and for good reason. First one is its exceptional service. Based on hundreds of reviews, staff go above and beyond to ensure guests have an unforgettable holiday. When issues arise, they are quickly resolved, and it’s common for guests to receive room upgrades.

In fact, the hotel has a reputation for being generous with upgrades not just when something goes wrong, but as a gesture of goodwill. Many guests find themselves in rooms that are far nicer and larger than they initially booked.

This hotel also shines in terms of entertainment. There’s a wide range of activities happening daily, and many reviews mention that Landmar Playa property has some of the best animation and entertainment programs they’ve experienced.

In terms of rooms, standard rooms offer more space than you’d expect from a typical 4-star property, with a design that has a modernist touch, adding to the overall experience.

H10 Atlantic Sunset – Very Quiet & Best Swim-Up Rooms

  • Location: Playa Paraiso, next to rocky beaches
  • Price per Night: from €180 to €230 depending on the season, (cheapest time to stay with them is May)
  • Best for: shorter holidays (3-4 nights) and for couple’s getaways
  • Read reviews on booking.com!

This is probably my favorite hotel among all on this list because it has very good food and amazing rooms with direct access to the swimming pool. I have been staying there twice (in different types of rooms) and seriously enjoyed every stay.

The area of the hotel is small but well-maintained and features three different pools for various age groups, a few dining areas, and nice service.

One pool (the infinity pool) is exclusively for adults and offers stunning sunset views in the evenings. There is also a kid’s area with a kid’s pool where families with children can have their secluded time.

However, a really great perk here is the food and overall vibe. Although the restaurant selection is limited, there’s a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. When the main restaurant is closed (for short periods of time), you can relax at the cafe with coffee, milkshakes, and pastries, or enjoy bar food with cocktails by the pool.

Almost every evening, there are separate entertainment programs for both adults and children.

The only thing to keep in mind – H10 Atlantic Sunset is located in a quiet coastal town which will be perfect for 2 types of people – those who plan to have a car (if you want to go on one or a few road trips around Tenerife) or for those who want to be lazy and solely enjoy an all-inclusive holiday without leaving the property.

Hard Rock Hotel – Impressive 5-Star With Efficient Service

  • Location: Playa Paraiso, hidden between the hills
  • Price per Night: from €180 to €200 depending on the season, but it is very possible to score this price in December too!
  • Best for: for people on honeymoons or those wanting to have an easy unforgettable holiday
  • Read reviews on booking.com!

Hard Rock Hotel is a chic 5-star property situated in the same location as the previous hotel mentioned above. The location is quiet and very nice but away from the center and island’s life.

The hotel on its own offers a seamless service experience and expansive grounds, complete with impressive heated pools and direct access to the beach with volcanic sand.

What I personally like about it is one of its outdoor pools with seawater that looks just like a sea lagoon and evening entertainment, featuring rock-themed acts.

Rooms are also nice and spacious with high-quality furnishings and decor. The rock memorabilia create a unique and stylish atmosphere, reminiscent of a rock star’s private retreat. The variety of dining options ensures that there’s something for everyone, whether you’re seeking a casual bite or a gourmet meal.

Overall, this is a fantastic hotel for anyone – solo travelers, couples, and families. Here, it is easy to have a memorable and enjoyable vacation without paying much, especially if you’re a fan of rock music and luxury accommodations.

Bahia Principe Sunlight Hotel – Family-Style Hotel

  • Location: Playa Paraiso (next to the previous two hotels)
  • Price per Night: from €190 low season, €230 high season
  • Best for: families on vacations craving an all-inclusive stay on a budget
  • Read reviews on booking.com!

From the outside, you wouldn’t even think this is a hotel. It looks more like an apartment complex, with several colorful 5-6 story buildings in a Canary Island style behind a gate (that’s exactly what I thought when I first saw it).

But in reality, it’s a hotel with a large, lush, and beautiful area hidden behind the buildings, complete with pools, relaxation areas, and spaces for activities. The ocean views from many parts of the resort are a highlight for many guests.

Bahia Principe Sunlight stands out for its cliffside location, offering sweeping ocean views. One major draw is its strong all-inclusive program, with quality food and multiple restaurants offering varied cuisine.

It has its family-friendly focus, which means it can get busy with children and which is why it may not be the best option if you’re seeking a quieter, more adult-focused stay. However, the resort also has quieter areas for adults, like designated pools and sections of the dining areas.

The pool area is also spacious, featuring multiple pools spread across the grounds, with distinct areas for different age groups, including a quieter pool for adults and more active areas for families. It’s designed to offer a variety of atmospheres depending on where you are in the resort.

NOTE: This hotel adjusts prices only a few months in advance. So if you’re booking 4-5 months ahead, the price might still be high – wait a bit and book later when the price drops. (But don’t wait if booking for holidays or peak dates).

Las Aguilas Hotel – in the Hills of Puerto de la Cruz

  • Location: hillside of Puerto de la Cruz
  • Price per Night: from €144
  • Best for: low-cost anniversary getaways and family escapes
  • Read reviews on booking.com!

I haven’t stayed here, but I accidentally wandered into the grounds while my husband and I were exploring the area. We went into the hotel restaurant to order a glass of beer and wine and to enjoy the lovely surroundings because their grounds are incredibly beautiful!

There is an impressive garden-like landscape with tall palm trees and interesting flowers and several swimming pools where one (largest pool) has a waterfall-like feature. Views of the ocean and slopes of the island are spectacular too and make it a truly picturesque escape.

Based on the reviews, rooms are spacious, many have private balconies or terraces. The hotel provides various amenities, including a fitness center, tennis courts, and a spa. Dining (all-inclusive) options typically include a buffet restaurant and a poolside bar, with a focus on international and local cuisine.

One of the highlights is its proximity to natural attractions like the Loro Parque and the beautiful beaches of Puerto de la Cruz, though it’s a bit removed from the town center, making it quieter but still accessible.

Las Aguilas Hotel is a really nice option for a relaxing stay on a budget with plenty of activities nearby. Finding free parking in the area is not a problem.

H10 Tenerife Playa – in Puerto de la Cruz By the Ocean

  • Location: on the waterfront in Puerto de la Cruz
  • Price per Night: from €138 for all-inclusive for 2 (even in the busy season in October through December, but you need to play with dates to score this rate)
  • Best for: for anyone who is seeking a combination of an active holiday with an all-inclusive stay
  • Read reviews on booking.com!

This is the cheapest all-inclusive hotel in Tenerife North, so if you are on a very tight budget, it may work best to stay here costs-wise.

Besides the price, it also has a perfect location – right in the central part of Puerto de la Cruz next to the Martianez beach (rocky beach popular among surfers and paragliders), and only a few minutes walk from the main promenade, Puerto de la Cruz beaches, and Lago Martianez (big complex with pools with seawater).

The hotel itself is rather simple (I’ve been there once when friends visited and they booked an all-inclusive stay in a basic room) but it is clean and has lots of choices of food, even though the menu tends to repeat itself which might feel boring to some (as per our friends).

There are also 2 outdoor pools (with quite warm water, even in the winter when temperatures are fluctuating) and rooms with sea views.

Among the negatives – the location (which is good and bad at the same time) because in some rooms you can hear music and noise from the street up until late and the entertainment program is somewhat poor.

I’d say that H10 Tenerife Playa Hotel is perfect for people who want an all-inclusive experience on a budget but want to be active and go out a lot. The stay is already more affordable compared to other Tenerife all-inclusive hotels, so you get good value for the money spent and won’t feel bad for not using the all-inclusive dining option every time.

Barcelo – Cheap Eco-Friendly Resort

  • Location: Las Chafiras
  • Price per Night: from €214 for all-inclusive for 2 in late winter, late spring and summer (cheapest rate is through their website)
  • Best for: eco-conscious travelers and families who prefer quiet holidays
  • Read reviews on booking.com!

Barcelo is a 5-star eco-friendly hotel located in the Golf del Sur area famous for gulf courses and quiet surroundings. It’s designed in a way that it has a combination of two styles of architecture (modern and Canarian style) with a more tranquil setting compared to the busier resorts on the island.

It has quite spacious rooms, with many of them offering sea or lagoon views. A large, multi-level pool area (including a vast lagoon-style pool where you can even go kayaking!) has options for both relaxation and activities with tennis and archery next to it.

But the main standout feature here is the hotel’s focus on sustainability, with energy-efficient systems and natural surroundings integrated into the resort’s design. For dining, Barcelo has several restaurants and bars with international and local Canarian cuisine.

I’ve been to this hotel without all-inclusive but got a chance to try its extravagant cuisines which were delicious and loved how peaceful at all times the property was.

My favorite visit was for holidays when we went to south Tenerife in December for Christmas time and surprisingly, we were even able to watch the stars from around the pool area at night.

The only disadvantage of staying here for me was the proximity of the airport as I heard occasional noise from planes (but I am overly sensitive when it comes to noise).

Location is also a bit more secluded, so it’s perfect for those who prefer a quieter atmosphere but less ideal if you want to be near the main tourist spots.

Bahia Principe Fantasia – Best Themed Hotel for Families

  • Location: Las Chafiras, southern coast
  • Price per Night: from €230 to €330 depending on the season
  • Best for: families with children and for couples who want to stay in a swim-up room
  • Read reviews on booking.com!

Bahia Principe Fantasia is the only all-inclusive themed hotel with a magical, almost Disney-like castle at its centerpiece. While it is not the cheapest (among all all-inclusive hotels on the list this is the most expensive one), it is quite economical since the price includes many perks.

Personally, this property isn’t my favorite (I visited it a couple of times on agent trips) as it’s often full of kids, and since I don’t have children, I prefer quieter hotels.

However, I can see that it is a perfect choice for families since the grounds are like a paradise for kids, offering everything for a fun-filled stay: a kids’ club, mini water park, playroom, daily performances, and even disco nights where kids are welcome.

Just beyond the hotel grounds, there’s a stunning seaside promenade perfect for long walks between beaches or enjoying a fitness session.

You’ll find Bahia Principe Fantasia nestled in the town of Las Chafiras which is very walkable and has a green, open and tranquil atmosphere thanks to many gold courses nearby
